Quantitative Research Methods for Program Evaluation

Description: This course was designed in response to the needs expressed by the Research Fellows. During the four days of the training, topics such as: research design, ethics in research, basics of probability and statistics, hypothesis testing, parametric and non-parametric statistical tests, econometrics, and empirical model specification were covered. As part of the practical session, Research Fellows drafted their own research proposals, which were continued to be developed into full research proposals after the training.
