IMPAQ International, LLC (IMPAQ) has been contracted by the United States Agency for International Development in Bosnia and Herzegovina (USAID/BiH) under the USAID/BiH’s Monitoring and Evaluation Support Activity (MEASURE II) to conduct the performance evaluation of the USAID BiH’s Financial Reform Agenda Activity (FINRA). FINRA is a five-year, $5.99 million Activity implemented by Financial Markets International, Inc (FMI).
The performance evaluation assessed FINRA’s progress towards contractual obligations, provided evidence, conclusions, and recommendations that will further guide the Mission towards supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina on its Journey to Self-Reliance (J2SR), and enhance the stability of the BiH financial sector- which was the main goal of FINRA Activity. Performance evaluation of FINRA consists of three evaluation questions, addressing the contractual obligations reached by the Activity, the assistance provided to the beneficiaries and other stakeholders (both general and COVID-19 assistance), and the perception of the necessity of USAID assistance to Partner Government Entities (PGE’s) towards the compliance with the international regulatory requirements in banking supervision, deposit insurance, and central banking.
