After delivered training courses, a small ceremony was held to award TEI’s Certificates in Evaluation Practice (CEP) to sixteen BiH researchers in total. In early 2015, MEASURE-BiH established a Research Fellows Program, in which 67 local researchers participated (representatives of the academic community, government institutions, and NGOs from BiH). With the completion of 101 days of the training, BiH became the first country in the region with a group of 29 evaluators certified by the Evaluators’ Institute from the Claremont Graduate University.
By creating the pool of certified evaluators, USAID/BiH contributed to building sustainable local capacity that can drive evidence-based policy and decision making, that will, in the long-term, contribute to the country’s anti-corruption efforts and EU integration process.
