PANEL DATA MODELLING IN STATA

Description: The two-day workshop focused on conducting microeconometric panel data analysis using STATA. The workshop began by introducing the theoretical underpinnings of various panel data model followed by a detailed comparison of different basic linear panel data estimators such as within, between, pooled OLS, random effects, and population averages. The topic of cluster-robust inference were also discussed. The course included practical examples to built participant’s skills in using STATA to carry out panel data analysis with samples from Panel Study of Income Dynamics and Medical Expenditure Panel Survey.
