Instructor: Kalaj Gulati (IMPAQ Interntational LLC) Time: 11/02/2019 - 15/02/2019 Description: The aim of the course was to strengthen the capacities of local educational institutions to conduct high quality impact evaluations using the most recent scientific quantitative methods. The focus of this five day course was on acquiring an empirical toolbox used in contemporary applied economics research. Participants had an opportunity to learn, practice, and become fluent in coding and performing data analysis in a statistical programming package, STATA. Moreover, participants employed the newly acquired microeconometric methods know-how on several examples of real program evaluations with cross-section and panel designs.
