MEASURE-BiH Delivered a Training Course on Program Evaluation for CSOs in BiH

Thirty representatives coming from twenty-five different civil society organizations (CSOs) from all over BiH were introduced with main features of Program Evaluation and USAID Evaluation Standards during a one-day training course held on October 31, 2017 in Sarajevo. The course was delivered by USAID Monitoring and Evaluation Support Activity (MEASURE-BiH) as part of our aim to foster local capacity in BiH for high quality program evaluations.

During the course and through delivered training materials, participants had the opportunity to learn the difference between monitoring and evaluation, how to formulate evaluation questions properly, how to design an evaluation and which methods to use, how to write evaluation proposal and prepare evaluation report, and what are the differences and coherences between evaluation policies of different international organizations (USAID, OECD, EU, UNDP, WB, and SECO).

The course was led by Naida Carsimamovic Vukotic, MEASURE-BiH Chief of Party and Ognjen Djukic, MEASURE-BiH Capacity Building Specialist.
